Star Trader

Star Trader is inspired by the old school science fiction TTRPG of the 1970s. If you ever wanted to have your own space ship and travel the spacelanes moving freight and dealing in your own opportunistic cargo business--this is the game for you! It is a text-based game with no graphics other than a dot-matrix sector map but it is all you need to buy low and sell high as you Spike your way around the sector. Or, just carry scheduled cargo and passengers and take advantage of opportunities, carousing and other actions available throughout the sector. Watch out for space pirates!

Gameplay notes: When you hit a key to do something, such as look at the sector map or check the price book, if it seems like nothing has happened, scroll up--the map or the price book prints and then the cargo listings reprint--crowding the map or the pricebook higher into the display.
Check the Market at every planet to get the latest prices!
Remember to get fuel before trying to Spike to another planet.
